Documentary control at importation
The Ruling Center is a new concept that falls within the scope of the Ivorian Government strategy to strengthen the role of customs in the control of goods by replacing the goods Pre-Shipment Inspection Program with new analytical, verification, valuation and classification procedures for goods at destination.
The Ruling Center, managed in close collaboration with the Ivorian Customs, is responsible for documentary controls of imported goods, in compliance with the International Principles of Valuation (WTO) and the Harmonized System (WCO) through the use of leading edge technology tools.
