- Cinematograph films (35mm), for public screening, printed and developed ;
- Newspapers and current periodicals, postage stamps and duty stamps, banknotes, checkbooks,
- passports ;
- Personal effects and used domestic objects ;
- Used vehicles ;
- Personal gifts ;
- Postal parcels ;
- Crude oil ;
- Commercial samples ;
- Donations by foreign Governments or International Organisations to the State, Foundations, charity organisations, and to recognized public-interest philanthropic organisations ;
- Imports for diplomatic and consular Missions, or for international organisations, for their own use ;
- Goods without any commercial value, imported on a non-recurring basis, for personal use, and which value does not exceed FCFA 3’000’000.
Furthermore, the following additional codes are also exempted:
- Diplomatic privileges and equivalent privileges (140) ;
- Privileges derived from military cooperation (149) ;
- Mining research and operations (308) ;
- Oil research and operations (309) ;
- State Convention (311) ;
- Projects financed by foreign support (420).
