The Minister of Culture and Arts and Entertainment Industries

1. In terms of culture
   The Ministrys mission encompasses:
   • The promotion of literary and artistic creativeness, and of popular arts and traditions
   • The entertainment, the coordination and the dissemination of cultural activities
   • The preservation and enhancement of the national cultural heritage
   • The protection of intellectual works
   • The international exchanges in cultural matters
   • The promotion of national languages
   • The training in the field of arts and cultural activities
   • The contribution to the promotion of national artists abroad
   • The contribution to the reinforcement of national unity to regional integration through cultural activities.



2. In terms of Francophonie
   The Ministry of Culture and Francophonie represents Ivory Coast in the Francophonie bodies, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
   • Organise the contribution of Ivory Coast to the various Francophonie institutions
   • Monitor the implementation of the Francophonie summits decisions
   • Follow
   • up actions undertaken with regard to the Francophonie by both institutions and natural or legal persons
