The Ivory Coast Directorate General of Customs is part of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
As a State Service, the Directorate General of Customs is in charge of implementing and ensuring the enforcement of the laws and regulations to which movements of persons, goods, means of transport and capital entering and exiting the territory are subject.
Customs are a National Agency which activities are part of the regional and international relations environment. As such, Customs are in charge of numerous missions: a fiscal mission, an economic mission, a mission of trade facilitation, which became obvious with the requirements of globalization, and a support mission to other agencies, through the protection of the interests of the State and of citizens.
